The awareness within your body is first and foremost important.

It’s imperative that you take a few minutes each day, just to be in tune with your body.

Close your eyes and connect.

Ask your body what it needs today and actually allow your body communicate to you by feeling into your body.

Become aware of any tension, tightness, pain, relaxed bits, vibration, energy running through you.

Ask what those areas that you are now aware of, what it needs today.

“What do I need to feed myself today to enhance my vitality?”

Once you feel this connection to your body & become aware, connect with your mind & listen to the constant chatter & observe.

Then just allow it all to fall away by connecting with the chatter & saying THANK YOU & allow releasing energetically.

10 people who have changed my life

There are so many people that have changed my life, in more ways than one, but these are the 10 that stand out the most:

My husband  ~

He changed my life in SO SO many ways.

Not only has he come into my life as my Soul Mate(in more ways than one) but he also has been & always will be my Earth Angel.

He brought with him so much optimism & positivity, that it was impossible to resist him.

After my father(an avid music lover), he brought more of a variety and love of music in my life – expanding my already huge library of music.

Our shared thoughts in spirituality, music and life has brought us many lessons and still does

My cousin Cindy ~

As kids we weren’t as close. Our relationship grew after she had her first child and I had my 2nd child.

We reconnected about 12 years ago and found that we shared a common path in spirituality. One of the paths being through  Reiki.

It was through my Cindy that I learned to really have a daily ritual, do more journaling and be more connected to my Divine.

At the same time, it was through my relationship with her that I learned to be more independent and free. Although unfortunately this was not always in the most positive way.

Despite that, I am now able to see to see that experiencing the darkness did help to bring me to light

doreen-virtueDoreen Virtue ~

She helped me to believe in Angels again and in a new, more enlightened and connected way.

Through her books and through her Angel Intuitive course, I grew to be so much more connected to my Angels and all Angels.

Helping me to tap more into my intuitive side.

Traci Harding ~

mbkJSxHqDW81jhS7xkXTMwQan Australian novelist. She blends fantasy, fact, esoteric belief, time travel and quantum physics, into adventurous romps through history, alternative dimensions, universes and states of consciousness.

My cousin Cindy was the one who introduced me to her books. My very first book that I read of Traci’s was The Book of Dreams – which totally opened up a new world for me as well as helped me to be more connected with my spirit.

This first particular book also helped me to have more, brave experiences of Lucid Dreaming & Astral Projection.

I went on to read many of her series and absolutely fell in love with the way she wrote her stories.

Loved the suspense and the history in all her trilogies :) I feel that her books helped me in many ways on my spiritual journey. Awareness being the biggest one :)

images (2)Jillian Michaels ~

Throughout my whole life, I have dieted and exercised.

I was  inspired by Jillian Michaels when Biggest Loser US started showing here in Australia.

At first I felt a little intimidated by her but overtime, saw that she had a huge passion for what she does – with the hugest heart and love for helping people.

Not only did those personal attributes inspire me, but her DVDs have inspired me to stay on track with my daily exercise routine for many many many years.

I pretty much have every DVD she has ever put out :)

I love variety and she gives that to me. Inspired by where she came from  to be where she is today – which inspired me to no end(especially when I put on 40 kgs after having my daughter).

She is inspirational in many ways and love her quotes – especially

“Get comfortable with being Uncomfortable!”

Debbie Ford ~

Debbie-Ford-659x728a Traci Harding book I was reading a few years ago, had a  reference to this book Debbie’s book: The Dark Side of the Light Chasers.
The title just completely sold me. Cried out for my attention!

It was during a time of much self destruction in my life. Of projecting that all was ok, when all was not well at all. Through Debbie’s teachings, I was able to embrace my dark side and bring it to the light.

YES, it most definitely is a process and one that always brings challenges for me. Having a much deeper, new perspective and clarity around my behaviour has definitely contributed to where I am today.

I have been inspired by many of her books since this one and then “The 21 day Consciousness cleanse“.

She began the journey of allowing me to face my raw, true authentic self – accepting all aspects of me, instead of running away from them.

images (3)Melody Beattie ~

I first encountered her words of wisdom through a yahoo group that I was part of many years ago.

Really not realising why I connected with her what she shared so much back then.

But while writing this, coming to a realisation that her books have helped me in so many ways and her words have touched me to my core because I was addicted to self-destruction & self-sabotage for many many years.

I was especially inspired by her book, Miracles in 40 days. It actually helped to change my life and look at my daily gratitude list in a different way.

I was then hooked!

And bought most of her books and just love her words of wisdom when challenges present themselves in my life.

Shiva Rae ~

Along my spiritual journey, I have always been inspired by yoga.

I always wanted to be able to incorporate more of it in my life but found that I was a lot more focused on the hard core exercises for many years.

Overtime, I was able to incorporate more yoga in my weekly workout routine and Shiva really inspired me with this.

She is amazing in showing me exactly how to connect with my spirit through my body.

It all is connected!

Fully Raw Kristina ~

Align-Your-Life-Go-FullyRawAfter I was on Weight watchers for 6 months and then went off to find out what better ways and most healthy ways to get myself back to health, after having my daughter Anjalia – I found Fully Raw Kristina upon my Google searches.

She inspired me to have more raw foods in my diet.

I will admit that this is still a working progress but I am so inspired by her love for raw organic foods and how it has changed her life.

Another person that I love because of her authenticity.

It really shines through and inspires people, like myself to feed my body more of what it needs  – which is fresh fruits & veggies

Jason Vale ~

The Juice Master!

Whilst on my weight loss journey and having found amazing people like Kristina, I also found Jason Vale as I was looking to incorporate more raw foods in my diet by juicing.

So in came Mr Vale

Instantly I thought, This guy talks so fast and crazy

And instantly I fell in love with his passion for juicing and the benefits of juicing.

This was around 3 years ago that I connected with juicing, not just as an avenue to exchange kilos for health, but also to cleanse me internally and give my body a nice rest from continually eating.

OH, and I have to include 3 of the most important people in my life as part of this share:

Pas Cam 114

Keenan, Aidan  & Anjalia – My kids :)

Each and everyone of them has brought so many lessons, learnings in my life and they still continue to inspire me be a better mum and woman everyday.

They are my original tribe.

They are my world.

They are everything to me.

They inspire me through their”

strength, bravery, confidence, love, warmth, affection, courage, leadership, initiative and so much much more

I am grateful to have this opportunity to share a bit of my journey through these 10 people that I feel have had a huge impact on my life …together, they all have brought me so much wisdom in all aspects of my life – and connected it all back to my spirit :)

Wellness Interview – Featuring Nadhira Razack – The Conscious Woman in Business

Welcome to the 2nd interview from Wellness Angel new segment:InterviewsIntroducing:

She is the  founder of Conscious Woman in Business – a coaching business that assists women to Trust Their Value and Sell their Brilliance.

As a mother, speaker and business mentor, her specialty is in helping women entrepreneurs sell high value programmes effortlessly to their ideal clients. She has a sales background, which she  incorporates aspects of Universal Law and tuning into her client’s higher consciousness to facilitate transformation.

Nadhira and I have known each other for many years now..probably about 8 years or so. Initially, she met my husband at an NLP seminar a few years back and then we started to frequent the same personal development seminars and groups over the years.

I have asked her to do this interview because I have had the privilege of watching this young lady blossom into the amazing business woman she is today and can’t help but admire her Goddess essence and presence in the world.

Nadhira has a wealth of wisdom and inspiration to share with you. She is in tune with what she needs in order to be the best at what she does. Her true essence shines through in this interview.

1. Please share about yourself beautiful Goddess
My name’s Nadhira Razack and I’m the founder of Conscious Woman in Business. I am 28 years old and a mother of a 20 month old at the time of writing this , I coach and mentor women who are aspiring to be in business as well as those who have been in business for a while.
My belief is that your business has a soul too and it needs to be tuned into to allow it to express itself as you and through you. My work with the creator of the business or its ‘owner’ is to have this relationship be one that is joyful where they would allow themselves the opportunity to create programmes and offerings that are soo ‘them’ and so beautiful and sometimes ‘edgy’. Edgy because the price points are sometimes way higher than they could ever imagine they could charge and receive money for.. and also edgy because they are really pushing the envelope of who they will allow themselves to become in the process of getting that offering out there and having people receive it in their own lives.
So essentially it is sales and marketing that is the “what” of my business.. I’ve just allowed myself to bring all of who I am to my work.. all of my study and growth in tuning into consciousness and spirituality so most of my clients are pretty much in this spiritual transformational space.
I Love my work! It feels so magical and so aligned for me to do this work because I get to sometimes be the conduit for my client’s higher self, when fear and self doubt get in the way and they literally can’t hear their own guidance. I can then step in and help them bridge that gap whilst they allow themselves the opportunity to really trust themselves and allow themselves to get paid abundantly and in right alignment for what they are here to do.

2. What inspired you to be of service to others/ the world?
I’ve always been interested in living up to your potential in life.. so from a young age, like eleven years old , I started reading Norman Vincent Peale – The Power of Positive Thinking. I would collect TIME magazine articles on happiness and how to live a full life whist still in school. I’ve always been curious about what made people happy and ‘successful’. To me success just means that you are expressing your Divinity in the world in the way you are uniquely designed to.

3. What is your self-care regime?
A morning stretch so I feel my body , then dry body brushing before I hop in the shower. I actually don’t exercise : ) Running after my soon to be 2 year old gives me plenty of strength training (lifting him, putting him down, swinging him over my hip and doing things one handed) ; )

I do like to get in nature for a walk. A walk down the street to our local park , even if it’s just a 5 minute stroll does me wonders.
To add to this.. I believe self care for me really.. is about being Kind to myself.. giving myself a break sometimes.. because it’s really easy for me to say “oh look what I haven’t done yet” instead of allowing myself to breathe and go “look how far you’ve come” and being diligent with my thoughts and having touch stones of beautiful mantras to remind me to change thoughts of fear to thoughts of love.

4. How do you stay on purpose?
By gifting myself moments of quiet time to tune in to what my soul is seeking next. Creating these moments of stillness even if it’s just 10 minutes to ask some deep questions and then journal what I’m feeling and hearing and seeing in my vision.. and then meditating, asking for guidance, praying to God to guide my next steps, for me to see signs, and also use my own will in the creation process to bring in and call in my next evolution of me.
It’s a process!
I may sometimes rush into things and then learn just from feedback that actually something was not right..and I need to course correct.
The beauty of it is that nature is cyclical.. so if you get off purpose , you will also receive opportunities to get back on purpose again. I think your general sense of wellbeing , your emotions, your state on an everyday basis is an indicator of how on purpose or off purpose you are. I think especially as women, we can feel it when something is Off.
It’s the courage that’s the piece that can get us sometimes. To sniff out the places in our life where we are out of alignment and taking sometimes uncomfortable action in order to move through that area in order to meet the woman we already know we are. We just forget who we really are sometimes ;)

5. What inspires you everyday?
Wow. Just seeing Grace show up through life. It could be the cheekiness of my little boy as he tries to emulate daddy using the coffee machine. On another day it could be a series of “Moments” in my client calls where I see Grace show up for my clients and them stepping through the scary places in their own lives in order to call in the experiences their soul is seeking.
Just stopping even for 5 minutes to reflect on how far i’ve come and bursting into tears sometimes at the amount of courage I’ve had, and being grateful to myself and loving myself also inspires me.

6. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I really find it hard to answer questions like these : ) I think 5 years – you’re almost tempted to use the mind to come up with a trajectory based on where you are now.
I do see us being quite a mobile family. My husband would have quit corporate by then and we’re travelling more because of the flexibility of my business, running international retreats and private days with clients in different countries. Might have baby number 2 by then too and navigating this whole human experience of having a business and babies and definitely more beaches in the horizon :)

7. How do you bring balance in your life, with your business & family?

Balance – hmm this is tricky. One that I’m constantly navigating.
I have stopped having To Do lists. I have ONE thing or maybe Two things I need to get done each day in my business where I know my energy and my intuition is calling me.. and once these are done.. if I do anything else on top of that.. it’s a bonus.
Getting support in the areas I’m not strong at and don’t have the energy for.
My own inner guide, my Wise Woman.. gave me a plan of my work week. 9am to 1pm 4 days a week. I don’t always follow it for example if circumstances wise – with child care/ nanny being away I juggle things around and work around when my baby is asleep or when my hubby gets back home.

8. How have you manifested success & abundance in your life?
By making a decision about what it is I want and going for it. Usually when we don’t create what we want in our lives , it’s because we haven’t yet made the decision. To decide means to kill off all other options. So for me when my business really took off was when I DECIDED to be in business. Before that, I was operating more like a hobby because I still had a side job and I hadn’t really committed to making it work. The decision changed everything.
My main secret sauce has been heavily investing in myself through mentors I admired and resonated with and allowing them to draw out of me what it is I wanted to create. Sometimes you need to pay for things just to give you space , just to show up for yourself : )

9. What do you believe is your unique essence that you bring into the world?
Hmm.. I would say Love and Truth, mixed with refreshing joy.

10. Share with us your definition of Wellness?
Being in truth. When you’re living in line with who you really are and you’re living out your version of your life and you are aligned with every area, then you are well.
